Margaret A. Lofland, 68, of Blue Mound passed away Thursday October 7, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be 1:00 PM Tuesday October 12, 2010 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Blue Mound. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, rural Blue Mound. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com

Margaret was born on January 9, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, MO., the daughter of Arnold and Violet King Sides. She worked at Decatur Electronics as an assembler. Margaret loved her grandkids, being around family, working in her flower gardens and participating in the DMH Heart Walk every year.
Margaret is survived by her parents Arnold and Violet Sides of Blue Mound; her children: Teresa Trimble and husband Mark of Boody, Lisa Jewell and husband Michael of Decatur, Jarrett Martin and wife Michelle of Decatur and Nakia Burcham and husband Allen of Decatur; siblings: Roger Sides and wife Nila of Stonington, Linda Mulikey and husband Michael of St. Louis, MO., Larry Sides and wife Kathy of Taylorville, Ron Sides of Taylorville and Tex Sides and wife Darlene of Blue Mound; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive.
The family has requested that all of their relatives and friends wear casual attire for the visitation and funeral on Tuesday.
